The team is owned by the GMR Group and its home ground is the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium at Delhi. Greg Shipperd will don the mantle of the coach while Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is the brand ambassador of the Daredevils.

Dangerous side with plenty of flair, that's what Delhi Daredevils is all about. They have the experience of Glenn McGrath and Daniel Vettori, However last season the exuberance of this pair proved to be a cause for their poor showing.
Recent acquistions Paul Collingwood and Owais Shah have the ability to change their game according to formats.
Virender Sehwag is an imaginative skipper, known for his shrewd cricketing brain. Almost led his side to the crown last year. Coach Kepler Wessels from South Africa can be innovative and come up with unlikely ideas to throw rivals off-guard.

The first of the semi finals was played on Wednesday between Bangalore RC and Mumbai Indians, Mumbai went on to win this match by 35 runs Today we will find out who Mumbai's oppents in the final will be my money is going on Deccan to just pip Chennai do you agree? Saturday 24th April 2010 the IPL league is coming to a close and Deccan Chargers went head to head with Bangalore RC for third spot unfortunately for Deccan, Bangalore won by 9 wickets.
Sunday 25th April 2010 The final game of the current season saw Chennai Super Kings play Mumbai Indians for the IPL title. Chennai won the toss and went on to win the final by 22 runs, congratulations to a Super Team. can't wait for next season.
