The Delhi Daredevils are to be led by Icon Player Virender Sehwag - the Nawab of Najafgarh Virender's claim to fame his he has scored the fastest triple hundred in Test cricket. The team base is built on solid batsmen like AB de Villiers, Gautam Gambhir and Shoaib Malik, and with bowlers of the calibre of Glenn McGrath, Daniel Vettori and Mohammad Asif.
The team is owned by the GMR Group and its home ground is the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium at Delhi. Greg Shipperd will don the mantle of the coach while Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is the brand ambassador of the Daredevils.

Dangerous side with plenty of flair, that's what Delhi Daredevils is all about. They have the experience of Glenn McGrath and Daniel Vettori, However last season the exuberance of this pair proved to be a cause for their poor showing.

CAPE TOWN: Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders took one point each from a game that was abandoned without a ball being bowled at Newlands because of intermittent rain on Saturday. This was the second game to be abandoned this year and the third overall in DLF IPL competition.
With three points and a Net Run Rate of + 1.067, Chennai Super Kings rose to the third place in the table behind the two undefeated sides in the competition, Deccan Chargers (six points) and Delhi Daredevils (four points).
Mumbai Indians, with three points and an NRR of +0.175, are in fourth place ahead of Kolkata Knight Riders (three points, NRR -0.887) and Rajasthan Royals (three points, -1.875). Kings XI Punjab (NRR -0.364) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (NRR -0.519) bring up the rear.

The turning point of the match came in the first over after the tactical time-out during the second innings. Tendulkar and Duminy were going great guns before the break. The duo added 72 runs in seven overs before the break, placing Mumbai on top. After the time-out, Tendulkar mis-hit an inside-out shot off Ojha straight to Gibbs in the 11th over, giving Deccan an opening.
